Update to Louisiana Services Pick List: 1/1/2023 (ShareNote)

To assist our Louisiana Providers to be in compliance with the LA, ACT 503 requirements in rendering and documenting the services Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) and Psycho Social Rehabilitation Services (PSR), ShareNote will update those related CPT and HCPCS codes in the Louisiana Service Code Pick List located on the Active Services page in ShareNote Services Manager. See below for more information and instructions on how to make these needed changes.

When will this take effect? 

  • ShareNote will update the Codes on January 1st, 2023, and Louisiana Providers will need to make these manual changes on January 1st, 2023.

Who does this impact?

  • Louisiana Providers only.

What do I need to do?

If you are a Louisiana Provider, please follow the steps below:

For any codes that are not listed on the Louisiana Pick List, please access the current Louisiana Medicaid fee schedule and add those manually. 

Important: Do not deactivate any 2022 CPST or PSR Service Codes if your agency has not yet submitted all claims for any Services those Codes were used for.

  1. Hover over the Managers tab in the navigation bar, then select Services Manager from the drop-down.

  1. Click the View the Louisiana Services Pick List button.

  1. Select the appropriate CPST and PSR Codes that apply to you, then click Add Selected to Services.

    Note: Newly added 2023 CPST and PSR codes added to the pick list are listed in all caps.

  1. From the Services Manager, click the Edit icon to edit the Code so that the appropriate Service Codes Settings and Effective Dates can be placed on each individual Code that has been added to the agency's Active Services.

  1. Visit the Service Codes settings that the agency will no longer use in 2023 for created documentation and place an End Date on those Codes, so that their staff will not be able to continue using those retired 2022 Codes in documentation.
  1. Remember to visit each Staff and Client's Profile Page to select the new Service Codes that are specific to each individual.
