The gateway for the Payer must be set up in order to receive Remittance inside ShareNote Community. You must also already be receiving Electronic Remittance in order to receive them inside ShareNote Community.
- Register to Payspan.
- Log in to Payspan account.
- Click Your Payments.
- Click Accounts.
- Click Account Name.
Mailbox Setting - Create Mailbox
- Select Mailbox Settings button.
- Click Create Mailbox button.
- Copy the FTP User Name and Password to send to your ShareNote Community Remittance Specialist.
- Add the FTP Username and FTP Password to your Billing Profile worksheet if the Agency is still completing Implementation and send to claims@sharenote.com
Note: Remittance Specialist must have the FTP Information in order to complete your Billing Profile.
Under Edit Account
- Select Delivery Settings.
- Select the corresponding 835 Recipient.
Note: Recipient must match the Account Name

Save and record the Mailbox Settings
To locate or see if you have previous Remittance available:
- Go Back to the Home Screen.
- Select Your Payments.
- Select Payments on the left.
- Select Payer check box and search.
- If you have files available for that payer they will display here.
