Manage ePrescribe Subscription (ShareNote)

 Permissions: Must have "Can Manage Subscriptions Permission" checked on Staff Profile.

Electronic prescribing streamlines medication prescribing by improving accuracy, ensuring patient safety, and quality of care with no handwriting for the pharmacist to interpret or time consuming calls to pharmacies to call in medications.

Important: In order to sign up for ePrescribe, you must have an active account and payment in STRIPE.

Subscribe to ePrescription

1. Click the Manage Subscriptions tab in the navigation bar.
2. Click the Find out More button in the ePrescribing section.
3. Click + Add New eRx User.
4. User Type defaults to EPCS Coordinator. Your first user MUST be an EPCS Coordinator.
5. Select desired Staff name.
6. Click Add User.
7. Fill out EPCS Coordinator information.
8. Click Add User.

Add ePrescribing Users

There are three types of users that can be added in Dosespot:

• Add EPCS Coordinator - You must add at least one EPCS Coordinator before adding any other users. The EPCS Coordinator is essentially the gatekeeper for Controlled-Substance prescribing. They will see all prescriptions created and sent in a DoseSpot Admin Console and will have the ability to approve and deny prescribers the ability to send controlled substances.
• Add Prescriber or Provider - Once a Provider is added they will automatically be able to ePrescribe non-controlled substances through ShareNote Community/Dosespot. If your Provider would like to ePrescribe controlled substances, they will need to complete the Identity Proofing Process. 
• Add Proxy Users - Users that can add patients, pre-fill prescriptions, etc. but cannot send prescriptions. There can be an unlimited amount of proxy users. There is no fee associated with proxy users.

Remove a User

1. Click the Manage Subscriptions tab in the navigation bar.
2. Click the Find out More button in the ePrescribing section.
3. Click the X for user you want to remove.
4. Click OK button to confirm.
