ShareNote Community operates with one session open at a time per browser, due to this, we recommend opening multiple tabs in your browser as you work in ShareNote Community. The benefits of opening new tabs while you work is that you have the ability to work in/see multiple parts of ShareNote Community at once while you work without losing your spot. Follow the steps below for the different ways to open parts of ShareNote Community in new tabs.
Please note that if you are inactive or idol in ShareNote Community for a certain amount of time, you will be completely logged out and will need to log back in to resume working.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to protect your username and passwords at all times by not sharing your login credentials, and only use your own account to access ShareNote Community.

Right Click to Open a New Tab
In most places in ShareNote Community, you have the ability to open a page on a new tab.
NOTE: If you attempt to log in on a new tab while already logged in on the same browser, you will be automatically directed to the Dashboard.
- Right-click on your mouse or laptop touchpad.
- Click Open link in new tab.
- Click the new tab and resume working. You can open as many tabs as you would like and toggle between the tabs in your browser.
Open Tabs on a Mac
To open a new tab on a Mac, you can follow the instructions above to right-click, or hold down the Command key and simultaneously click the area of ShareNote Community you would like to open in the new tab.
Open Tabs on a PC
To open a new tab on a PC, you can follow the instructions above to right-click, or hold down the Ctrl key and simultaneously click the area of ShareNote Community you would like to open in the new tab.
