REF1K |
A confirmation number that is generated from the payer/trading partners EDI department upon receipt of the claim. These numbers are not generated by ShareNote nor the clearinghouse. If a claim has a REF1K number, the payer/trading partner has received the claim. This information can be used to reach out to the payer EDI dept and have them use this information to locate the claim. Please note, a claims rep will not be able to locate the claim with this information only an EDI representative. |
Provider |
Provider is used synonymously with Clinician, Health Care Professional, and Health Care Provider. |
Underserved Area | Geographic location or population of individuals eligible for designation by the federal government as a Health Professional Shortage Area, Medically Underserved Area, Medically Underserved Population, or Governor’s Certified Shortage Area for Rural Health Clinic purposes. |
Clinical Supervision |
The documented time a clinical supervisor and supervisee spend together to discuss the supervisee's work, to review individual recipient cases, and for the supervisee's professional development. |
Psychotherapy | Involves the use of psychological methods to treat abnormal or disordered behavior. |
Wraparound Services |
Intensive, individualized care management process for youths with serious or complex needs. Wraparound was initially developed in the 1980s as a means for maintaining youth with the most serious emotional and behavioral problems in their home and community. |
Encounter Data | Records of services rendered by a Provider to clients on a specified date of service. |
Plan of Care/Treatment Plan | Strategies designed to guide the development of an individual‐specific plan to address the behavioral health and natural support needs of the client. |
PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility) | For individuals less than 21 years of age. |
Evidence-Based Practice | Clinical interventions that have demonstrated positive outcomes in several research studies to assist individuals in achieving their desired goals of health and wellness. |
CSoC (Coordinated System of Care) |
Children and youth are eligible for services under the CSoC. |
Wraparound Agency/WAAs |
The locus of accountability for developing a single plan of care and providing intensive care coordination for children within the CSoC needs. |
QA/QI |
Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement |
QAO (Quality Assurance Officer) |
Pertains to quality review, the degree to which an agency increases the likelihood of desired health outcomes of its enrollees through its structural and operational characteristics. |
RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) |
This add-on service includes claims submission, reconciliation, corrections, reports, and much more. You may also hear it referenced as Manage Billing. |
DAP (Data Assessment & Plan) Notes |
A type of Note that can be included in the Universal Note. |
