Before you get started, take a look at the Appointment Reminder Overview to understand the different types of Appointment Reminders.
Activate Phone Message Reminders & Set Preferences
This is a one time setup, if you have already completed this, skip to the next section.
Here you can select a Custom or Generic Phone number and how you want Client Details to be presented in the phone message.
- Click Subscription Manager tab in the navigation bar.
- Click Manage beside Appt. Reminders in the Add-On section.
- Click Reminder Settings tab.
- Select to Active Text Reminders.
- Select if you want to use a Generic or Custom Phone Number.
- A Generic Number is generated by ShareNote Community.
- A Custom Number is $3 a month. Select and enter desired Area Code to generate a Custom Number for your Organization.
- Select Location Information to be sent in Reminders.
Phone Reminders
Phone/Call Reminders at $0.07 per minute within the United States.
- Click Phone tab.
- Select Preferred Client Phone Number.
NOTE: This is the number the Phone Reminder will be sent to. If you want to send reminders to the mobile phone, but the client doesn't have a mobile phone number listed, ShareNote Community will send it to their home number and vice versa.
- Preview the Phone Reminder Message.
- Select when you would like the phone reminders to go out each day.
- Click Save Phone Reminder Settings. The Phone tab will say On indicating that Phone Reminders are active.
