There are two ways to update the Service Code in a Note. Your Access Level will determine which method(s) you may use.
If Note is Not Locked
- Locate and View appropriate Note.
- Click Edit Note from Note Action side menu.
- Click Type of Service drop-down and select appropriate new Service type.
- Scroll down and click Submit.
If the Note is Locked or Locked and Signed
NOTE: In order to change the Service Code once a Note is signed and locked, you must have proper permissions and access to it.
- Locate and View appropriate Note.
- Click Unlock Note from Note Actions side menu.
- Click Edit Note from Note Action side menu.
- Click Type of Service drop-down and select appropriate new Service type.
- A pop-up will appear to add a Reason that you are editing the Note. Enter the Reason, then click Continue.
- Scroll down and click Submit.
