Permissions: To add Custom Words, you must have a ShareNote role of Clinical Director, Supervisor, or Administrator. Only Assigned or Location Administrators can select to only use the Custom Word List.
The Word Bank is a tool available for both BIPR and PIE Notes that can aid staff when creating Notes. There are default words in the Word Banks, however, you can add additional words you would like your staff to use, or elect to only use custom words.

Use Word Bank
- Hover over the Note Center tab in the navigation bar, and select Create New Note from the appropriate Note Center.

- Scroll down to the documentation section.

- To add a word from the word bank, click the word and it will automatically populate in the text box.

- Click back in the field to resume typing. Continue adding words from the list as necessary.

Add Custom Words
The following steps show how to add custom words to your Word Bank. We recommend having an internal conversation regarding the words you would like your staff to use.
- Hover over the Managers tab in the navigation bar, and select Lists Manager from the drop-down.

- Click the Custom Word Bank tab.

- Type in the Word you would like to add.
|

- Select the Type from the drop-down. This will show which area of the BIRP or PIE Note it belongs to.

- Click Add Word. It will now show in the Word List below, and as a default word for your staff to utilize.

Use Custom Word List Only
Follow the steps below to only show the Custom Word List for BIRP and PIE Notes.
Note: This task can only be performed by a ShareNote role of Assigned Administrator or Location Administrator.
- Hover over the Managers tab in the navigation bar, and select Preferences from the drop-down.

- Locate the Note Preferences section and expand it.
|
- Locate the option for Show Custom Word List Only, and check the box.
|

- Click Update.
