If you get a new phone, you will need re-setup DUO Two Factor Authentication on it. In order to do this, you must already be a ShareNote Community ePrescriber setup in DoseSpot.
Access DoseSpot Admin Console
- Go to https://pss.dosespot.com/admin
- Enter your Email Address and Password to log in.
Note: Click Forgot Password link if you forgot or need to reset your Password.
Resend DUO TFA Setup Text
- Scroll down to Clinicians section at bottom of page.
- Click Edit link for appropriate Staff Member.
- Scroll down to TFA Authentication section at the bottom right of the page.
- Click Re-send DUO Mobile button.
- In Send DUO Mobile Activation window, ensure Send DUO app download link and Send DUO activation link are selected.
- If the Prescriber's mobile number is different than what was originally entered, enter Prescriber's new mobile number - This is where the download and activation link will be sent.
- Click Send. Text will be sent to Prescriber's mobile number.
- The Prescriber should follow the directions in the texts to get the DUO Two-Factor Authentication App set up appropriately.
Download Duo Mobile App
- You will receive two text messages from DUO Mobile.
- Click DUO Mobile App download link from the first text.
- Follow prompts on your phone to download and install app.
- Click the link in the second text once the DUO Mobile App is downloaded and installed.
- DoseSpot will now be listed in the DUO Mobile app.
- Your TFA code is the six-digit number sequence listed.
Note: The Refresh arrow will generate a new code. You will need to generate a new code every time you are prompted to enter the TFA Code in the DoseSpot application.
Login to DoseSpot
- The TFA Activation window will display back in the DoseSpot Application web browser.
- Your Reference Number should pre-populate.
- Input the TFA Code found in DUO Mobile app.
- Input your PIN.
- Click Save.
You are now able to electronically prescribe Controlled Substances in ShareNote Community and DoseSpot.
