Electronic prescribing streamlines medication prescribing by improving accuracy, ensuring patient safety, and quality of care with no handwriting for the pharmacist to interpret or time consuming calls to pharmacies to call in medications.

Add ePrescribing Users
There are three types of users that can be added in Dosespot:
- Add EPCS Coordinator - You must add at least one EPCS Coordinator before adding any other users. The EPCS Coordinator is essentially the gatekeeper for Controlled-Substance prescribing. They will see all prescriptions created and sent in a DoseSpot Admin Console and will have the ability to approve and deny prescribers the ability to send controlled substances.
- Add Prescriber or Provider - Once a Provider is added they will automatically be able to ePrescribe non-controlled substances through ShareNote Community/Dosespot. If your Provider would like to ePrescribe controlled substances, they will need to complete the Identity Proofing Process.
- Add Proxy Users - Users that can add patients, pre-fill prescriptions, etc. but cannot send prescriptions. There can be an unlimited amount of proxy users. There is no fee associated with proxy users.
