The following are some common reasons for claims being rejected. To ensure that your claims do not get rejected, please make sure that these issues are entered into ShareNote Community correctly.
Subscriber ID not found
- Navigate to the Client's profile to ensure that the Client details matches what is noted with their insurance. If it does not match, please update the Client's Insurance/Funding Source.
- The information listed with the Client's insurance must match what is on file in ShareNote Community. For example, if the insurance has the Client's home address has the word "drive" spelled out, it must be spelled out in their Client details. Do not abbreviate it "Dr."
Primary diagnosis is not indicated
- The Client must have a primary diagnosis listed.
Invalid claim rending Client ID
- Ensure that the staff's Rendering NPI matches the national registry.
- Ensure that the NPI is copied over correctly. If you are copying and pasting the NPI into ShareNote Community, check to make sure that there are no additional spaces after you paste the NPI.
- Do the same for the taxonomy.
