Jump to Section: [Find the Note and Transaction ID] [Transaction History] [New Billing Submission]
Find the Note and Transaction ID
- Hover over the Note Center in the navigation bar, and open the appropriate Note Center.
- Locate the Note(s) that have the error and is listed as a Denial not a rejection.
- Scroll all the way to the right, and click View Payment History.
- Select and copy the Trans ID.
Transaction History
- Hover over the Managers tab in the navigation bar.
- Locate Direct Billing in the drop-down, and select Transaction History.
- Paste the Trans ID in the Trans ID field.
- Click Search.
- Click View in the transaction.
- The ICN Number should be pre-populated. If it is not, manually type in the ICN number for the claim fund on the paper remittance.
- Click Update ICN.
- Click in the box on the left to select the claim.
- In the Select Status drop-down, select Corrected/Billable.
- Click Update Billing Status.
New Billing Submission
Follow the regular Billing Submission process ensuring that the following information is correct:
- Enter the appropriate date range to capture the desired Notes.
- Check the Bill Corrected Claims (Only) box.
- Only the corresponding Insurance Billing profile has the check mark.
